Frequently asked questions
The expense varies, relying mostly on the number of graft number you undergo and the type of procedure such as FUE, DHI or FUT. A typical FUE session involves transferring 3000–3500 hair follicles. Once we assess the current hair thickness and the regions of hair loss, we can provide a cost estimate. We provide this estimation for free.
Around a week is ideal. Most procedures complete within a day. However, patients should take precautions during the initial days to ensure the grafts settle well, like wearing shirts that button up to avoid disruption. Though some traces of the procedure might linger after a week, daily routines, including work, can be resumed. We will provide you a detailed to-do list and check-up on your progress.
Four (4) weeks after your hair transplant, even if you feel healed, your scalp remains vulnerable to injury that can impact the newly transplanted hair follicles. Thus, it's crucial to refrain from participating in contact sports for a minimum of four weeks. Additionally, it's recommended to steer clear of swimming during this period to minimize the risk of infections.
Redness post-FUE usually subsides within 3–4 days. However, in certain cases, a mild pink hue might persist for a few weeks.
Additionally, the surgical procedure involves creating numerous small incisions in both the donor and recipient areas. As a result, you might notice scabs and crusts forming. When washing, you might also observe some redness in the transplanted area.
